Burnout Mapping Session
A structured 1:1 conversation to understand stress, burnout and reduced capacity
90 Minutes | £144 (VAT inc.)
A Burnout Mapping Session is designed for people who are still functioning day-to-day but recognise that aspects of their current lifestyle, work environment or coping strategies are becoming increasingly difficult to sustain.
You may still be meeting your responsibilities, showing up for work and appearing “fine” to others. However, underneath, you may feel exhausted, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, disconnected from yourself, or unable to recover properly.
Many people attend a Burnout Mapping Session because they are no longer sure whether they are experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, exhaustion, ADHD-related overwhelm, or the cumulative effects of prolonged pressure.
The purpose of the session is to help you make sense of what is happening so you can decide what to do next.
Why Book a Burnout Mapping Session?
When people feel exhausted or overwhelmed, they are often given advice before anyone has properly understood what is causing the difficulty.
As a result, many people spend months trying to fix themselves, improve their productivity, or push through, only to find that nothing improves.
A Burnout Mapping Session focuses on understanding before taking action.
Rather than jumping straight into solutions, we explore what may be contributing to the strain and whether your current challenges indicate burnout, prolonged stress, reduced capacity, conflicting demands, or something else entirely.
Many people leave the session with a clearer understanding of why life has begun to feel harder to sustain.
What a Burnout Mapping Session Explores
The session is a structured one-to-one conversation that helps you understand what is happening across the following:
- workload and expectations
- emotional and cognitive load
- nervous system strain
- recovery patterns
- personal values and internal conflict
- current coping strategies
- work, life and relationship demands
- factors that may be contributing to exhaustion or overwhelm
The aim is not to label you or to diagnose a problem.
Instead, the session helps build a clearer picture of what may be contributing to your experience and of the type of support that may be most appropriate.
Who a Burnout Mapping Session is for
This session may be particularly helpful if you:
- feel persistently exhausted or emotionally drained
- notice increased irritability, withdrawal or reduced patience
- struggle to switch off or recover properly
- feel conflicted about work, responsibility or expectations
- find that rest or time away no longer seems to help
- feel overwhelmed by decisions or responsibilities
- want to understand what kind of support may be most useful
You do not need a diagnosis.
You do not need to be in crisis.
You do not need to know what you “should” do next.
What happens during the session?
During the 90 minutes, we carefully map out your current situation.
Together, we explore patterns rather than labels and context rather than assumptions.
This helps us identify:
- what may genuinely be contributing to strain
- what may be increasing pressure unnecessarily
- what does not need fixing
- where capacity may be affected
- what type of support or change may be proportionate
Many people describe feeling relieved simply because their experience finally makes sense.
What you will leave with
By the end of the Burnout Mapping Session, you will typically leave with:
- a clearer understanding of what you may be dealing with
- language for experiences that have been difficult to describe
- reduced uncertainty around what is happening
- greater clarity about possible next steps
- reassurance about what may not be necessary
Some people choose to continue working with me.
Others use the understanding gained from the session to make changes independently.
Both approaches are completely valid.
The focus is on understanding your experience before deciding what action, if any, is needed.

FAQ - Most frequent questions and answers
Therapy is reflective and healing-focused, helping you process emotional struggles, past experiences, or trauma. Coaching is action-oriented and helps you move forward, whether that’s building confidence, managing stress, or creating sustainable lifestyle changes.
Both are valuable and at Your Pneuma Matters, I offer both — sometimes separately, sometimes blended, depending on your needs.
We can explore this together. During your free Discovery Call, we’ll discuss where you are now and what kind of support will be most useful. You don’t need to figure it out before you reach out.
Yes. Many clients benefit from the combination. Therapy can help with processing and understanding, while coaching helps you take action and make real-life changes. We’ll always find a rhythm that suits your energy and emotional capacity.
The Discovery Call is a relaxed, 30-minute chat. You can share what’s been going on, ask questions and get a feel for how I work. There’s no pressure to commit yourself. It’s simply a space to explore what support could look like for you.
Yes. Everything you share is strictly confidential and I follow professional ethical guidelines. Your safety and privacy are always respected, whether you’re accessing therapy or coaching.
Not at all. You’re welcome to take part in both if it feels right. Some people start with individual support and later join group programs for shared growth and connection.
That’s completely flexible. Some clients meet weekly, others fortnightly or as needed. We’ll work together to create a manageable and helpful pace for your lifestyle and emotional needs.
All sessions currently take place online via Microsoft Teams. This allows you to access support from anywhere, with the flexibility and privacy of your own calm space. Currently, in-person options are available in Redhill, Surrey (United Kingdom).
That’s completely okay. Many of my clients are starting for the very first time. You don’t need to have the “right” words or know exactly what you want. Just showing up is a powerful first step.
It varies from person to person. Some people work with me for a short period (a few sessions), while others prefer ongoing support as they navigate longer-term changes. There’s no fixed timeline — we’ll regularly check in to ensure it feels useful and aligned with your goals.
