Burnout Mapping & Orientation for Organisations_

Burnout Mapping & Orientation for Organisations

90 minutes | £350 + VAT

This is a decision-support session for organisations considering whether and how to respond to sustained pressure, burnout risk or reduced capacity.

It is designed for situations where work continues and delivery is still underway, but there is increasing uncertainty about the appropriate response.

Often, organisations reach this point when:

  • pressure has become ongoing
  • managers are carrying an increasing strain
  • recovery is unreliable
  • and existing approaches have not resolved the issue

These changes usually develop gradually across workload, expectations, pace and responsibility.

They are frequently interpreted as engagement, attitude or resilience issues, rather than as signs of reduced capacity in the system.

At this stage, there is often pressure to act — to introduce training, wellbeing initiatives, or resilience support — without a clear understanding of what is actually driving the problem.

What this session is

The Burnout Mapping & Orientation session is a structured conversation focused on supporting sound decisions before intervention.

Its purpose is to understand how pressure is currently operating across:

  • workload and role design
  • decision-making and cognitive demand
  • autonomy and control
  • pace, recovery and sustainability
  • where strain is accumulating in the system

The focus is not on labelling people, diagnosing problems, or defaulting to a programme.

It is to clarify how capacity is being affected, what that means for the organisation, whether burnout risk is present, what is contributing to it, and what type of response, if any, is proportionate.

This is not training.
It is not a wellbeing programme.
It is not a commitment to further work.

It is a decision-support conversation.

Who this is most useful for

This session is particularly helpful when:

  • pressure appears ongoing rather than temporary
  • managers are carrying an increasing strain or decision fatigue
  • behaviours are being interpreted as performance issues without a clear cause
  • existing wellbeing initiatives have had a limited effect
  • you want to understand operational sustainability before acting

What you will leave with

By the end of the session, organisations typically leave with:

  • clearer understanding of whether burnout risk is present
  • language to describe what is happening
  • insight into where pressure is accumulating
  • guidance on what type of response is proportionate and what may not be necessary

Some organisations proceed into training or further work, whereas others use the clarity to take internal action or decide that no further action is required.

After our session, you can decide what feels right for your organisation and your employees. There is no expectation to proceed beyond this conversation.

What this session is not

  • It is not a sales call
  • It is not a diagnostic assessment
  • It does not replace occupational health or clinical services
  • It is not designed to assign blame

The focus is on informed decision-making.
